Pemberton is a beautiful place to spend a holiday, the green forests and the nature are a great escape from a city life. There are plenty of activities on offer, including the new aerial adventure near the Gloucester tree. It is not far from Nannup or Manjimup or even Walpole. Good place to stay especially in the summer month to cool down.

Pemberton is picturesque; the marri trees in full bloom are a glorious sight. The railway ride is good fun. The Southern Forests Chocolate Co. actually makes its own chocolate (unlike Margaret River, which makes its chocolates from imported European chocolate). The grandchildren loved the swimming pool and thought that the adventure course at the Gloucester tree was "amazing."

The accommodation was fabulous and well stocked with everything you could need. The box of logs for the fire was an added bonus and having a log fire in the evening was lovely. And the spa was a wonderful way to unwind at the end of the day. I thought it a bit odd that we didn’t meet the owners on arrival though!
