Charming place out of main tourist resorts. If you look for busy and loud nights, this is not the place for you. If you look for quiet place close to the nature, nice and friendly people and can organise and enjoy your free time, come to Mallacoota.

My friend and I were very impressed with our room and the styling and colour scheme was excellent. All amenities provided in the room were fantastic and exceeded our expectations. You thought of everything for our comfort.

Mallacoota is an interesting place to visit even though our 3 day planned visit was cut short & we had to return home after only spending 1/2 day in the village due to a unexpected illness in our family. What was really appreciated was the fact that the Mallacoota Hotel (in conjunction with Booking.com) refunded our money the very next day which was something you don't expect to happen these days - especially when you have agreed to their cancellation policies.
We will certainly be booking in again in the very near future.

Beautiful natural environment. Work is being done to the foreshore of the inlet. There didnt appear to be any fish in the inlet and at low tide it was quite shallow. Plenty of kangaroos and native birds and pelicans to be seen.

Very friendly town. Would definitely go back. Was just an overnight stay. Nature is gorgeous and love the road to Mallacoota. Extremely busy over Easter, which is understandable. We need to support them and small businesses. Nice relaxing, clean place.

Enjoyed the location overall. Also found it easy to walk around and see the wild-life. Sadly, only three restaurants in town. Lucy's was excellent, but very busy being it was really the only restaurant other than the bistro at the 'coota hotel. Which also served good food. We had dinner at Gipsy Point Lodge and that was also superb and extremely well hosted.
A 2-3 hour trip on the M.V Lochard was excellent. Our skipper Colin was very knowledgeable and it is definitely recommended. We also had coffee at Origami which was excellent and the Croajingolong Coffee shop was also very well managed and great service and coffee. Overall we found the residents of Mallacoota to be extremely friendly and welcoming.
