There was black mould everywhere in the bathroom and room. My room was changed when I arrived and I was like given to a room that was half renovated that had patches of plasterboard being half done up. When I pointed out that’s not the room I booked it was ignored! The towels had stains on it and so did the mattress. The pool is filled with dirt and the whole place is very run down! The laundry next to my room started being noisy at 7am on Saturday. The owner knocked on my door and asked me to check out 5 minutes after it was checkout time! I was not offered a discount for the disgusting room, noise or the overpriced rate!

It is close to NorthConnex entrance and it was late to find accommodation on the other side so we stayed in Hornsby for the night continued next morning. Dinner at Bluegum hotel was good, not so the accommodation.

Access to the Hotel was good with a station close by for travel to the city if required. Easy to reach from the M1 freeway. A short drive way is Westfield Hornsby shopping centre with everything you require. Having your own transport makes things easy but amenities are close by within walking distance.

The restaurant was awesome! The food was delicious and we were very impressed, that we returned for lunch after our appointments. The only change I would recommend is softer seating, or more comfortable chairs. But other than that the staff were lovely in the restaurant and bar next to the restaurant
